Description
As the Branch Finance Manager at, you will oversee the financial operations of the
branch, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with local financial regulations. The role demands a strategic approach to financial planning, coupled with strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial documents.
• Prepare and maintain the Management Information System (MIS) to support decision-making processes.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting to ensure financial stability.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.
• Ensure adherence to local financial regulations, including CNSS, INR, IPP, TVA, and other OHADA
taxation laws.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial practices and support overall branch operations.
• Must be hands-on with IT/ERP systems, DMS, and have working experience with MS Office.
• Manage cash flow and credit line management, prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, taxation declarations, etc.), and maintain relations with the banking fraternity.
• Prepare the annual budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals, ensuring
compliance with legal standards.
Qualifications:
• Must hold a Certified Accountant (CA) designation.
• Proficiency in French is preferred, to enhance communication within the branch and with external stakeholders.
• Experience with CNSS, ONEM, INPP, IPR, TVA, and familiarity with OHADA taxation laws is
beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive financial strategy.
• Strong track record in managing finances within a corporate environment.
